Following the accreditation of charity status by the Charity Commission, Brian Gray, Chairman said:

“Besides achieving charter standard this mark’s one of the biggest milestones in the leagues 15 years history. As the league grows It will enable us to access funding only available to charities and will also enable us to claim gift aid on all donations to help towards the running costs.”

“By achieving this it shows our commitment to providing disability football to the 450+ players that currently take part or to anyone with a disability aged 8 or over that is looking to play football.”

The Charity has a board of trustees whom along with the management committee will oversee the running of the league with a commitment to secure the future for disability football in Kent.
